Reviews
I took a intro to music class in college that used this set and the accompanying textbook (although, back then, we had cassettes). I wanted to get back into classical music, so I was happy to see that Amazon offered these cds. They have a wonderful selection of music from many different artists. There are also a few traditional, non-classical selections from around the world to broaden the listener's experience even further. This is an excellent primer for those who are just getting started learning about classical music as well as a good collection for those that simply want great music to listen to. For those looking to delve a little deeper, I would suggest getting a set with the textbook as it explains an overview of the history and structure of classical music (as well as some jazz) in a concise and easy to understand manner.
