"Rodin and Michelangelo: A Study in Artistic Inspiration" by Flavio Fergonzi is a beautiful book that was first sold at the Rodin and Michelangelo Exhibition at the Philadelphia Museum of Art in 1997. I did attend this exhibition but didn't have any cash to buy the book in the Museum Gift Shop after adding so many other goodies based on the exhibit in my shopping basket and having spent so much at the Rodin Museum too.They had a van, covered with scenes of from the ceiling of the Sistine Chapel, taking people attending the exhibit from the Philadelphia Museum of Art to the Rodin Museum and back again.Wonderful experience that I was able to relive through this book. I've always regretted not putting a few things back on the shelf and buying this book instead. There is a LOT of information I never knew about both artists and their work in this book. I am so happy to have it now.
